A favourite that I've been coming back to for several years now. Real gem of a cafe and worth every penny! Flavourful dishes, with a great selection of vegetarian/vegan mains and hot drinks. I love the scrambled tofu, sourdough toast and cacao hot chocolate. Can get very busy over the weekend, so it is advisable to arrive a little earlier to beat the lunchtime rush.

I can’t recommend this coffee shop enough! The staff here are absolutely lovely — always warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. I've been coming here regularly, and their friendliness never fails to brighten my day. The atmosphere is so relaxed, chill, and cosy — perfect for unwinding with a coffee or getting some work done. The music they play is always spot-on too, adding to the calm and inviting vibe. This morning, I stopped by for breakfast (which was delicious as always), and while chatting to Nikki, she very generously treated me to a coffee after I mentioned I’d been dipping into my savings a bit lately. That small gesture meant so much, and it’s a true reflection of the caring vibe they’ve created here. The owner, Amalasiddi, is so lovely, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere he’s cultivated really shines through in everything they do. If you're looking for great food, fantastic coffee, and the kindest staff in a cosy setting with brilliant music, this place is an absolute gem. Thank you for making my morning — and so many others — that little bit brighter!

It is always a pleasure to drop by at this coffee shop! Today was particularly nice, I received an excellent service, and I decided that after multiple visits and purchases it's time to give back a little bit to this gem of Crookes. I usually order Cappuccino and it's always delicious, never extremely hot like Costa or Starbucks, but nice and smooth to drink. The baristas are smiley and kind, and always make a good impression. Happy to be their regular customer!
